La Fondation collabore régulièrement avec d’autres organisations afin notamment de créer un plus grand soutien en faveur de la culture et du développement, d’accroître son expertise et son réseau, et d’élargir ses possibilités de financement. La Fondation fait ainsi cause commune avec de nombreuses organisations tant aux Pays-Bas que dans le reste du monde. Collaboration with the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts
The Prince Claus Fund and the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts combine forces in an international art programme that brings art and culture from all over the world to Amsterdam in a series of special activities. Interesting individuals from around the world come to Amsterdam and highlight topical issues through fashion, art, photography, film, music and dance. The programme is characterized by quality, diversity and innovation. The activities that are organized illuminate and deepen urgent and relevant subjects from unexpected angles and disciplines. The international art programme evolved from the desire of the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts to set up a high-level and truly international art programme. The Prince Claus Fund wanted to provide its international network, consisting of excellent artists, intellectuals, thinkers, with a platform in Amsterdam. This resulted in a series of activities with among other exhibitions, lectures, debates, workshops and musical performances. The Amsterdam Fund for the Arts stands for development, strengthening and versatility of the arts in Amsterdam. Un partenariat entre la Fondation Prince Claus et la Commonwealth Foundation
Le programme Collaborations a été lancé pour promouvoir le rôle de la culture comme forme d’engagement auprès des personnes et des populations dans des pays confrontés récemment à de profonds bouleversements sociaux et à des conflits. Selon les prévisions, le programme permettra de soutenir et développer des projets en collaboration avec des organisations de la société civile opérant dans le domaine de la culture afin de réagir à des situations de conflits ou d’après conflits. Les différents volets du programme apporteront les moyens accrus aux acteurs locaux et aux organisations culturelles travaillant avec les populations, et aideront à aborder les questions de prévention de conflits futurs et de réconciliation. Le programme renforcera également le réseautage entre les différents pays et entre les acteurs culturels travaillant dans ces pays. Il aidera à obtenir une adhésion plus importante au niveau international concernant l’utilisation des ressources culturelles dans des situations de conflits et d’après conflits.
Cette initiative commune entre les deux organisations se concentre sur 4 pays spécifiques, à savoir le Rwanda, le Zimbabwe, le Sri Lanka et le Pakistan.
