The Applications Programme supports and stimulates innovative cultural activities and initiatives of individuals and organisations in many cultural realms, including theatre, music, dance, architecture, literature, philosophy, visual and audio-visual art and design. The Fund encourages debate on culture worldwide by organizing conferences, festivals, workshops and exhibitions and supporting exchanges by local and international networks. The Programme also supports book publications and magazines that aim at sharing cultural information with a wider audience and providing a space for expression.
Working under the supervision of the Prince Claus Applications team, but as independently as possible, the trainee will be responsible for research applications and compiling information about projects. The trainee will produce efficient and accessible documentation.The trainee will be involved in every step the team makes from application to supporting individuals and organizations worldwide. We are looking for a trainee for a minimum period of three months, starting in October 2011 to 31 December 2011. A good command of the English language is required; Spanish and/or French are an advantage. It goes without saying that the work placement student must have an affinity with the Fund’s working field.
