Dutch Postcode Lottery
Since 2001, the Prince Claus Fund has been delighted with the Dutch Postcode Lottery’s yearly contribution of €500,000. The Postcode Lottery is also supporting the CER Programme for the years 2007 to 2011 with a total of €200,000 from its annual 13th draw. In 2004, the Fund received an additional €1,500,000 for the Sahel Opera. The Prince Claus Fund regards the Postcode Lottery’s assistance as both moral support and a form of recognition that also helps when fund-raising elsewhere.
"Contributing to a fairer, greener world"
the Dutch Postcode Lottery’s Objective
Dutch Postcode Lottery
“Contributing to a fairer, greener world.” This objective marked the founding of the Dutch Postcode Lottery in 1989. Since then, the Postcode Lottery has become the largest charitable lottery in the Netherlands. For the Prince Claus Fund, the Postcode Lottery’s contribution is important for the continuance, growth and recognition of the importance of its activities. Moreover, it offers the Fund the opportunity of underlining its activities in the Netherlands. The Fund has been one of the Lottery’s beneficiaries since 2001. On 9 February 2011, the Prince Claus Fund was once again granted a financial contribution during the Lottery’s Goed Geld Gala. In 2011, the Postcode Lottery distributed a total of 270 million euros between its good causes.
