On the 13th of April the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture Ceremony takes places at the Cité de l'Architecture in Paris. During this ceremony two partners of the Prince Claus Fund will be honoured for their work on sustainable architecture.
Anne Feenstra (Netherlands) represents a profile of new practices, that export European knowledge to the coming markets. He builds participative emergency and development projects out of local materials in Afghanistan and India.
Salma Samar Damluji (Iraq) architect and researcher educated in UK, pupil of Hassan Fathy, dedicates her life to the safeguarding and redesign of Earthen Architecture in the fascinating but highly dangerous Yemen.
The Global Award for Sustainable Architecture is presented by the LOCUS Fund.
