14.3.2012 2011 Prince Claus Award presented to Rabih Mroué

On Thursday 15 March the Dutch Ambassador to Lebanon, HE Mr. H. de Boer presented the 2011 Prince Claus Award to performance artist Rabih Mroué in the presence of Minister of Culture of Lebanon, HE Mr. G. Layoun. The ceremony took place at the Ashkal Alwan workspace of 2006 Prince Claus laureate Christine Tohme in Beirut, Lebanon.

2001 Prince Claus laureate Ibrahim El-Salahi exhibits in the Sharjah Art Museum in the United Arabic Emirates from 20 March till 31 May 2012. Ibrahim El-Salahi: A Visionary Modernist, an exhibition organized by the Museum for African Art, New York, highlights the exemplary work of Sudanese artist Ibrahim El-Salahi. The exhibition catalogue is supported by the Prince Claus Fund.
